does your force give oficers cases to carry their airwaves or are they clipped on without a case
Clipped on without a case
Both, we all get cases and you can then get the clip without the case as well.

Some forces have way too much money to splash out.
We get both but you know ill get wrong if I tell you where I work!!!
as most forces have both options how do you prefer tocarry your airwave (with or without case) and is it more comfortable kept on your belt or fleece, stab vest, shirt etc.
I wear mine on my vest, you can't wear it practically on your belt.
Airwaves shouldn't be worn on the belt due to coverage issues!

The new digital police radios that have taken over from the old VHF system.
Thank you.
We have our radio's on our belts. Plain Clothes you have to carry it or I have a small bag I put it in.

I think the wearing it on your belt is the least of the problem DW..........coverage problems in general are a big issue up here!!! They drop out more times than a gigilos t*d**r!!
Sarge, you must be well in with all the gear... I had'nt a clue what an Airwave was!.... We carry our messenger pigeons in the boot usually.
