Hi,
Firstly I would like to say a big hello to all my fellow Police Officers on this forum.
Let me introduce myself.
My name is Nathan and I am a 30 year old member of the South Australian Police or SAPOL as it is known in crow eater land. I am currently in the process of applying to join the New South Wales Police via the Police Professional Mobility Scheme. My paperwork has been sent to Recruitment Branch and my future is basically in the hands of the NSW Recruiters. I have been in ' the job' for nearly five years and can honestly say that I cannot imagine myself doing anything else for a living. I am currently working in the small coastal / rural town of Millicent which has a population of about 7,500 people and is located 45 kms from Mount Gambier. Its a great station with a great team of coppers. Prior to this I was stationed in the Riverland area of S.A. for just under 4 years. In the time that I have been in SAPOL I have worked in C.I.B., tactical teams and now back on patrols.
On a personal level I my fiance and I are expecting our first child in October. I am originally from Wagga Wagga N.S.W and only moved to S.A to join the Police, so hopefully if all goes well I will get to work in or near the city I grew up in.
Well I hope thats a suitable introduction and I am looking forward to reading as many posts as I can and hopefully answer any questions other forum members have.
Till then thanks for having me on board.
Take care and stay safe.
Nathan
