Northern Constabularyhttp://www.northern.police.uk/images/image001.jpgDETECTIVES investigating the murder of Nairn banker Alistair Wilson have issued a fresh appeal to the conscience of anyone who may have information about the father-of-two's killer.
DCI Peter MacPhee, the senior investigating officer in the case, has issued two emotive pieces of footage to two television programmes specifically on the Alistair Wilson murder in the hope that anyone with information will have the courage to come forward.
It is understood the footage will be shown on Grampian TV's Unsolved series and BBC's Frontline Scotland are also producing a programme as part of this fresh appeal.
Alistair Wilson, (30), was shot dead on his doorstep at his home in Crescent Road, Nairn on Sunday 28 November 2004 at around 7pm.

TaysideTayside Police are appealing for information that could help trace any relatives of 71-year-old Dundee man Robert Fisher who died suddenly at the weekend at his home in Kirkton.
He lived alone at his house in Beauly Avenue for a number of years. Efforts to trace surviving members of Mr Fisher’s family have so far been unsuccessful.
There were no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.

StrathclydeAttempted Murder - Hope Street, Glasgow
Detectives are treating as attempted murder an attack on a 27-year-old man in Hope Street, Glasgow in the early hours of Monday 30 January 2006.
Around 1.40am, the victim was within the Silver Nightclub on Hope Street when he was assaulted by a group of around five or six males.
The victim managed to flee from the attackers, who chased him along Hope Street before again assaulting him close to Buffalo Joe’s. The attackers were last seen heading along Gordon Street towards Union Street.
The victim was taken to hospital were he was treated for stab wounds. Hospital staff describe his condition as serious, but stable.
The only description available of the attackers is that they were all Chinese in appearance.
Detective Sergeant Sandy McLean of the City Centre CID is appealing for witnesses. He said:
"The club was busy with revellers celebrating the Chinese New Year and I would appeal to anyone who witnessed the incident to come forward.
"The victim suffered serious injuries and I believe there are witnesses, both inside and outside the club, who have yet to come forward with information that will identify those responsible."
