Drugs and guns seized in Dublin raids

Gardaí have recovered drugs, guns and ammunition following a series of searches in Finglas in Dublin.

A handgun, a sawn-off shotgun, ammunition and 1kg of cocaine worth around €70,000 were recovered at the back of one of the houses searched.

A 37-year-old man has been arrested.

The searches involved detective units from Blanchardstown, Finglas and Cabra, along with the Organised Crime Unit.

Searches were carried out at three houses and open ground in the McKelvey Avenue area.
