Is anyone here a forensic scientist or does anyone have knowledge of it as I was hoping to get a job as one when I was older.

Not really, but I'm pretty sure you'll need to go to University and get a degree or something to stand a good chance of becoming one.

You could tap up your local Force for a tour of the SOCO offices, or mabie a work placement scheme?

I've got a placement with the police, but am not sure weather it includes the CSI part of it.

Here anyway most of the forensics is done by forensic science labs they deal with dna etc but our lads do fingerprints ballistics etc etc
