Re myself. Retired Divisional Commander, Chief Inspector, New South Wales Police force. Australia. A Dinosaur really as Ihave been retired for some years.
Uniform duty for 31 years. Traffic Cyclist, (motor cycle outfit.) General Duties. Road and Cliff Rescue Squad, Flood Rescue Squad etc. Not sorry to be retired. Miss the blokes though. Hobbies Glider Flying. (Not hang glider- too old to use the legs for an undercarriage. )
a large clap for the Police of today for operating under the unreal restraints placed upon them. Don't know how I would cope nowadays.
