I've been on the site before (not for recruitment) just to have a look around, and I think it's a good site.

Been on before. Always disappointing to see that the only Force hiring is 800 miles away...

Surrey

Policecouldyou is a good site and it's official aswell meaning you can apply to join online, something becoming increasingly common.

Worth waiting for

Yeah, I used to go on it frequently only to find the quote "There is currently a recruitment freeze at the moment..."
But it is a useful site nonetheless.

Ive been on but there does seem to be, sometimes differing views on who's recruiting.

The site would say, for example, Merseyside 220 Constables (Under Who's recruiting now) but, if you were to look at the actual force website they'd say that they're not recruiting until a certain month (Some 2-6 months away)

It probably isn't updated often. Is it an official police website though because Avon & Somerset (according to policecouldyou.co.uk) is Somerset & Avon Constabulary ( http://www.policecouldyou.co.uk/default.as...n=article&ID=59 ) look at the map of forces.

Strange that it doesn't have a .gov.uk address though, maybe it's supposed to be seperated from anything political

SHAME it's not kept up to date

We should all move to some small town in middle America somewhere where they're in need of a police force. We'd all work togther in our own little force, all the equiptment we wanted etc
