A policeman in a Russian city dressed up as a young businesswoman to save her from a gang of criminals.
Igor Selendey took the place of the 27-year-old after police in Ulyanovsk got a tip that a gang of criminals was going to attack her in her apartment.
Police chiefs decided the job was too dangerous for a female police officer and instead chose Selendev, a marksman and judo expert, for the job
The officer wore a wig and makeup borrowed from a local theatre, shaved his face three times in a row, and even put on a nightie for the role.
At midnight a knock was heard on the door and a voice asked the owner to receive some documents.
The disguised officer opened the door and was threatened by two masked men who demanded money.
Selendev initially maintained his disguise and begged the intruders not to kill 'her' before overpowering them both, reports Pravda.
The thieves were already handcuffed and unconscious by the time Selendev's colleagues rushed in from the next room.
Brilliant!! they got a lot more than they expected!!!

Sounds like reasonable force was used
Well if they were willing to attack a 'woman

' I'd say they deserved what they got.
*sings* I'm every woman its all i need
Ha ha Sounds a good result.
Do you think he has to do all the washing and cooking for the relief now
Bloody gutsy effort. Just as long as he handed in the equipment at the end of the shift.....
