I don't know about any other force but if we are wearing our vests we don't have to wear ties regardless of the weather or if we are wearing a coat

That IS cool. I HATE wearing a tie.

Makes ya feel likne your back in school. I hate it too atleast in school they wernt clip on so could leave top button open

We have open necked shirts, so no need for a tie.

For the MPS,

short sleeve shirts = no tie (optional - everybody opts out)

Long Sleeve Shirts = tie must be worn


Regardless of whethr or not a stab vest is being worn.

It used to be that in the summer months between May and October if you were wearing a short sleeved shirt you didnt have to wear a tie, all other times you did.
I dont think it will ne too long before we go over to polo shirts.
