I've seen several threads on Real Police Forum about Oakley offering a significant discount to LEO's (Law Enforcement Officers) (as they call us), but ot seems that it has to be done directly through Oakley USA.

I'm wondering if anyone this side of the pond has heard of this / can offer any insight. I would image that over here it's gonna be a job for Oakley Europe / UK.

Anyway, would be good if we could organise it. I for one have loads of nice pairs of Oakleys and wouldnt wear any other brand, though with the cost involved I often think twice of wearing them to work.

Do what I did stock up on fake pairs when your on hols

Really Fetom?... You taking orders? (joke)... Oakley don't have a base here. It's in the UK. As far as I know the deal they have in the States is an actual official thing that Oakley offer.

As for your suggestion Sarge. I'd guess that fake pairs are not gonna help your eye health as the UV Protection labels are probably fake too.

WE can be issued a pair of sunnies by the dept if we desire. Having seen what the lowest tender was able to provide, I fork out for my own.

Interestingly, Oakely UK do special discounts for military personnel, this does include Police Officers.
