A police officer suffered a dislocated shoulder while stopping a domestic disturbance at a house in Cornwall.

Police were called to the property in Pavlova Close in Liskeard early on Friday morning after reports of criminal damage inside the house.

One officer was injured in a struggle to restrain the man and later taken to hospital. The offender was arrested after officers used CS spray.

A 21-year-old man remains in custody at Launceston Police Station.
