People living in rural areas of Northamptonshire are being urged to report any suspected illegal raves taking place in the county over Easter.
Police want people to alert them to any unusual gatherings of people or vehicles as soon as they occur.
Landowners are urged to be vigilant and to ensure their land is as secure as possible and access gates are locked.
Det Insp Steve Lingley said: "Illegal raves can have a considerable impact on our rural communities."
He added: "In the case of farmers and landowners, they can also have a devastating impact on crops and other agriculture, together with the costs associated with clearing up litter left behind.
"We need members of the public to be our eyes and ears in their own community and urge them to get in touch with us if they notice signs an illegal rave is being planned."
