Police say they fired a taser stun gun twice at a man who was armed with a baton in Penyfordd, Flintshire.

Officers went to a house on Wrexham Road after receiving reports that a house on Penymynydd Road had been threatened with petrol bombing, according to the police.

Police said they arrested a man who was armed with a baton.

They said they also arrested the man's son at the house in connection with the alleged petrol bomb threat.

Police said they were called to the house on Penymynydd Road around 2215 BST on Saturday.

They said based on information received, armed response officers went to the house on Wrexham Road.

A Samurai sword, baseball bat and a large ornate sword were taken from the house following a search, said police.

They said they were continuing to search for another man.
