Right... we all know about the "chav modded car" that you see around the town all the time. Kitted up Novas and Fiestas, etc.
Well, me and a few mates want to create a "metal car" - one that represents punk rock/metal/etc
The idea is that we kit up a black car (using class of course) and use different things to make it more... well... metal...
Just wondered what the laws are on push bumpers in this country. It'd be a great edition

I don't believe there is a problem using bullbars or similar but push bumpers would be illegal under construction and use regulations as they are too jagged and could cause injury if they strike a person.

Bull bars are a bit of a grey area. Got one on my off roader but it was factory fitted at manufacture, therefore no problem, and the ends don't extend around the sides.
Got a nice black bullbar sitting in my yard. Bit small for a 4x4 and I can't work out what it came off!

Wasn't there a Fiat Panda 4x4??

There was Jon and they've recently brought out a new one, In fact I still know someone who has one of the originals from 1988, and the bull bars not off that; the holes don't line up!

Damn... That rules out the teeth...
I'll have to find some legal bull bars or something. It's so irritating how idiot chavs can get away with murder yet the rest of us have to suffer
Thanks anyway guys

Well - this was the plan:
In full metallic black with black/dark grey alloys. Hints of red/orange/yellow to off-set it all. The push bumpers would've been a nice addition giving it a more jagged look.
Might not get off the ground for a few months/years yet but still open to suggestions
