The job In the RAF Police, you’ll be responsible for the security of all Service personnel, material and information, the prevention and detection of crime, and the maintenance of discipline. You’ll also be involved in counter-intelligence, criminal investigations and dog-handling duties. At the beginning of your career you’ll help secure our bases, search personnel and vehicles, and assist in investigations of minor crimes and breaches of security. You’ll also get involved in crowd control, ceremonial duties and guarding air transport and VIPs.

Air Transport Security basically is a Police Flight.

Onboard the Royal Flight aircraft, there is always a member of the RAFP.
