Is it just me or have we been seeing a lot more Skoda's in the police recently? They are even used for emergency response, OBP do you use them in traffic at all? It wouldn't surprise me. A laughable image a few years back has been transformed.

Cleaveland Police use them for their Traffic Patrol Cars and British Transport Police use them also. They are the only forces that I know of!

Theyre not a bad car actually. All the motor parts engine gear box etc are all volkswagen run forever

We have a couple of Skodas on traffic but none at my garage.

I REALLY like the Skoda Octova. Unfortunatly it still has the stgma attached to it

I know Orinoco has a Skoda Octavia in his signature but I don't know which force it belongs to

I'm not sure, could be a demonstrator.

Octavias are fantastic cars though!

Yep they do, they have them as marked and unmarked

plus they have mercs and Volvos to run along side them

I -*test*-('") drove an Octavia Rs a few months bcak and was quit impresssed by them. They handle realy well but I thought they were alittle underpowered for the engine in them. Must be cos they seem very heavy cars

The driver training school at Hendon has an unmarked one. Everyone loves it!

I don't have any problem with then but bugger all resale value or trade-in value with any other make of car
