Jamie Theakston narrates a series about helicopter police in South Yorkshire. Teenagers on motorbikes are driving the police mad. They are riding stolen and borrowed bikes on and off road, often without helmets, and defying officers to chase them, but they can't because it's too dangerous. So, the sky cops have been drafted in to sort things out and they have some surprises in hand for the troublemakers.

...It looks like a potentialy new re-take on 'Traffic Cops'. There was an episode last week that we seem to have missed...anyone watch it?

Yes, the last episode was also in South Yorkshire so maybe, the others will be too...Is it going to have the same effect that 'Traffic Cops' gave us?

I was on my trainers foundation course with business manager of the MET ASU.

I watched it. It was very good. Quite funny the Acting Inspector was related to the Traffic Officer we see on Traffic Cops!

I watched the last 15 mins of it on thursday,

Your man tim scothern is brother in law or the Act Isp og the air support unit and that young traffic cop matt bort (The young guy with the funny accent) is now driving ARV's

Good show. That Tim fella sure does not like letting scroats escape!... Drives like a young lad moving cars around a garage forecourt with an open palm on the wheel & no seat belt.

Anyway I thought the actual show was very good, a nice mix of air and ground footage.
